Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Just been told the bloke in the car is claiming whiplash. I call bollocks on that as he was totally fine yesterday & my bike was probably doing 20mph when it hit an impact absorbing bumper.

As mentioned in another thread somewhere, I have a Cagiva Supercity 125.
I bought it last year, around September time, as I'd seen it go up for sale roughly 9 months ago, as a new restoration.
It was originally up for £3k, a price I thought was speculative but maybe fair as there aren't any others to compare to. Too much for me though.
As time went on, it got cheaper by about £250 every couple of months and was certainly increasing my interest, with every passing price reduction.
When I saw it had gone down to £1750 one day, I immediately rang the fella and arranged to go and view it, with a trailer.
It was in what I can only describe as, fully, unprofessionally, restored state.
All the bearings and bushes were done, engine rebuilt, brakes and suspension all renewed and refreshed, 2 original keys and original brembo brake lever still present.
Didn't even bid the bloke on the price, it was fair enough as it was.
Payed him , took it home and put a few miles on it, tentatively, as it was freshly rebuilt.
Once I'd done a few careful miles, I started to wind the wick out to see what she'd do and was surprised to find it faster than the Mito I used to have, and the one I currently own. By a LONG way!
I love this bike, I think it may be my favourite I've owned, so far.

Rambling done.

I had my NCB suspended after this potentially LETHAL reverse into an Alfa 147 with a litigious owner.
