Re: What did you do today?
They're demanding cash for fixing it to do me a favour.
Must be doing it mates rates. He wants the 2k for the engine up front as the guy with the donor van somewhere ower the toon, wants the money before he removes it. I hope it hasn't been 'ordered' especially. I can only get £800 a day from the cash point so my mate with the disco is fronting it for me.
I think £2000 is cheap for a full engine, turbo and all ancillaries.
I think I might ask for my old engine to strip and see what went wrong. I might be able to make some money back on a few bits.

It was the same with Mark 3 Transit bonnets. I 'ordered' one and it still had fucking signwriting on it.

I'm sure there was cctv footage doing the rounds of a van engine being removed in two minutes or something ridiculous.

Speaking to our builder. He chopped in his 2yr old Transit in baked bean colour with low miles to a F-Pace. Made £2k on the trade in for what he paid on it a year ago.
Are vans in big demand at the moment?

Less annoying tag line.
Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

Halves and thirds on chucky are useful if you’ve got a lemon.
Pay half and walk away. Or fix and pull any equity out and buy something with more cc’s that’s older and not a ford or merc.

Re: What did you do today?
A quick browse on ebay suggests £14-£16k
I've got quite a bit of equity in it then. Autoshiteboy has gave me the idea of webuyanycar.
