Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

What a gifferish thing to do you big dopey bollocks.

Being a nugget and slamming the anchors on, FFS!

Your mind must have been on other things...

Aye totally guilty, no idea why I didn't react earlier. It just totally didn't register they'd stopped.

TBH though there wasn't room to stop so slamming on the brakes & dropping it before I got to the car was about the best outcome. No panel damage on the car, just the bumper & I dived out the side so I didn't hit the car either. Pure luck, but it turned out for the best.

Wasn't he moving to Geordie land at some stage?
He's probably keeping a low profile to keep away from Paul and his current mayhem.

Ben?
Don't think it would make any difference to me. (Apart from not having to read any more of hooli's "jokes".)

Bad luck hooli. What speed was the traffic moving at and did the fuzz get involved? You'll be sore today.

30mph or so in a 30 zone, it's not a quick road. Too many junctions & numpties pulling out to block the traffic as the view is poor. No fuzz, no ambulance although one was called I asked them to cancel it.

I'm not too bad today actually, I'm surprised as I was expecting to be worse as well. My right hip is aching as that hit the road, although the main landing was my shoulder & back so the armour in my jacket did it's job as they don't hurt at all. My left knee is well swollen, I can hardly see my kneecap on one side. Apart from that & a slightly sprained left wrist I'm all good surprisingly. I don't think I'll start jogging or cycling anywhere for a few days mind.

Sounds like you got off relatively lightly.

So quickly wrapping your tail around the nearest lamppost does help then.

 yeah, it could have been a lot worse if I'd hit the back of the car myself. I'll be fine in a few days, but my insurance renewal won't be next year though.
