Had another tinker with the scooter. It idles ok but give it any load and it bogs down. Carb has been stripped and cleaned. Plug looks OK. Doesn't seem like the clutch is at fault or the drive train. Is it worth paying 19 quid for a new carb and seeing how that pans out?

More poking and prodding at the Jag today. Conclusion? It's fucked. Rotten Al along nearside, inner sill membrane rotten, and rear subframe mounts very weak. Not had a prod at offside yet. Got offered £351 via an online scrapper. Will lose a couple of hundred but that's life. I'll find a better one in the future.

It is was it is. To do it properly would involve cutting sill off and would turn into a massive project. The cars mot'ed to September still but the previous repairs are bodges. Can't save them all unfortunately. Head is ruling heart this time. Now anyone want to buy a jaguar startrac phone 🤣🤣

Best offer I've had so far is 371. If I had the time I'd break it as the autoboxes get h good money.
