We had several 2.5 Vectras on our fleet at work, including a couple of SRi"s. One had been "robbed" of its Irmscher rear box, as a standard exhaust had been fitted. No mention of it in the service book or receipts, so expect a co-workers 1.8 Club had a fancy exhaust fitted to it.

Many years ago I was told that on a certain sporty Vectra B if you lifted the reverse collar and engaged first gear it engaged a sportier final drive. Is this true? I've heard this from more than one person.

...although the David Arnold'esque music in the launck advert made it seem quite the car to have.
