Yep - and as expected tbh - Maf is a doddle along with Dash bulb - SVS lamp still operates so meh.

Exhaust I knew about - new one sans box is ordered already.
Wasn’t it one of the influx of new bodging Brewers rather than an actual trusted shiter?

Slight update.

New exhaust is new, and makes a very subtle burble - these have a decent engine note anyway.

New rear upper and lower bushes - now steers like a B Sri - :-)

Must do eml.... bulb - no faults.

Drop links on front. Rear discs for a tiny judder. Try and unbodge the sump plug...

28-32 mpg depending :-)

I bought a V reg hatch 2.5 sri off a bloke that worked for me. Paid a grand which was at least half what it was worth because he needed the money. It had been slammed and had huge fuck off after market alloys. It handled like fuck and went like a stabbed rat. I had it up to 140 with some mates when one of them noticed some blue flashing lights in the distance behind us. My heart fucking sank and I slowed down watching the blues getting closer and closer before realising it was an ambulance.
What a relief! I thought I was fucked.

Bloody thing makes a glorious, muted growl. No centre box on replacement system and it adds the tiniest rasp. Sounds like an Italian V6 if you know what I mean.

Mine was a police car the other month, I'd just slowed into a 40 to do 40 after hitting triple figures in the NSL. Thought 'fuck' as he hit the siren but he hammered straight past & obviously had more important things to do.

I remember borrowing a Cav V6 auto that went like a scalded cat.

I still maintain that the 1.8 Vectra C I had was the fastest 1.8 family saloon I've ever driven.
