Hummm, still haven't forgiven my father for buying me one of them c1985 instead of a fucking Sony.

I still haven't forgiven my father that he didn't leave me a massive fortune.

Ok guys I don't suppose anyone on here wants to take on the 'turd. I can see this old thing being as bad as the hearse on my wallet as it shat it's power steering pump the other week. So now it really must go, the steering pump has been done and she can be driven away. The best offer is 6 grand which I will take for a quick no nonsense sale but it has to go this side of xmas.

Don't think it is misfortune particularly, just that Mr Panhard seems to not be one to lash something up and flog it on for a quick buck (after having bought it from Foreign unseen it should be remembered!) Some of the work on that Thunderbird is the stuff of keepers....If I had enough spare moolah I would definitely be sniffing it - just my sort of thing. GLWTS!

Yeah I do tend to spend way too much money getting these things going and if I hold on to it until the market settles down next year no doubt prices will firm up. I just get bored easily and like to get the poxy things right. At 6k I am about breaking even so no where near as bad as the hearse was. The little Panhard owes way more than it is worth but I can live with it. It is only money and if I didn't waste it on crap cars it would just go on beer and hookers.

American Cars are always hard to sell this time of the year theres always a glut of them for sale. Its not your car thats the issue theres just wayy too much Yank Tin for sale right now.
Shitey is a keeper if he wasnt I wouldnt have a dogs in hell chance of getting my money back they are cheap for what they are but people would rather pay £20-50k for a 60's jobby

Your more likely to sell yours just before the show season when somebody wants something new,I find the Yank Scene a bit fickle as you will often see the same faces with a new ride every season and they are your buyers ;)

Good Luck

I took the 'turd out again today for a shake down run before taking it to the Haynes breakfast meet in the morning. So far so good but it did stall after sitting at some traffic lights and was a bit of a bugger to start. It is still way too rich but is getting better. The bloke who offered 6k has gone quiet so another timewaster. I will just have to keep hold of it til the new year at least. Anyone else going to the Haynes meet tomorrow ? Unlikely I know as there aren't many wobbers here in the south west.
