As old timers from the vanilla forum may remember I have a long running thread called The Liverturds that I updated every Christmas for the last eight years with the exception of last year due to me having a somewhat assertive discussion over my Stupid Question Amnesty thread changing names without my consultation or permission.
I thought that rather than hijack our other pic threads, especially as mine are both colour and monochrome, I'd continue it here and see what the wobbers response is so here goes.
I appreciate that local history is only interesting if you're actually local so I've only included pics with decent wob content to capture what life was like from the 50s to the early 90s.
On my part I find any area equally as interesting local or otherwise. What is going on with the leggy bird next to the bucket and spades sign? Is it a cut-out to best market home made steak pies or is that actually a leggy bird in the street?
