That's what I thought too but apparently some UK ones came with all of the added tat.

I think I've blown my chances of entering that with my last outburst.

It wasn't really an outburst but seemed to be taken that way by a couple of people.

In fairness it started a page further back when you'd missed out on a £3 extra for a fourth ticket upgrade - you were jokingly playing the dodgy bastard character and it went on from there.

I'd be laughing my bollocks off if you had entered and won it, especially after scooping the Cooper. They'd be going nuts.

I drove to Wick to swap my 205

For a ....

205!

It's a 205 D turbo with 12 months mot and on 66k miles. It drives really well and is a much nicer place to be than the auto 205.

Picked up a 309 for cheap after getting a tip off from a local recovery driver that it might be for sale. Someone offered a swap for a Volvo 740 estate which I accepted.

It's a bit of a shed but it came with a long mot and does actually drive fine, the 309 didn't have any mot but I'm sure it only needed a couple of things when the new owner put it in for a test.

I spotted a lovely mk1 Cavalier on facebook for under £1k which seemed like a good price, I went to see it and it looked in pretty good shape overall with a couple of bad bits of rust, the worst of it being under the rear screen which is going to be fun trying to repair.
The seller couldn't get it started but I still ended up buying it.
It's in unbelievable condition underneath so here's hoping I'll be able to get it roadworthy shortly.

I've found an ascona in a scrapyard with a good rear panel I can chop out and it has a spare screen that I'm as well taking in case anything happens to mine when it comes out.
It might be possible to repair/fling some filler in it for the time being to stop the water getting in. I've got to admit, the thought of having to repair it did initially put me off buying it but I thought I'd probably kick myself later for passing up a mk1 cavalier for £900.

Yeah, I guess a cut-out would be the way to go....I'm still kicking myself for letting a Mk1 Ascona go for silly money yonks ago. Nice cars and still very under-rated.

I saw that Cavalier, if it wasn t so far away I may have been tempted! I had one twenty odd years ago and mine was rotten on the a posts, like where Capris go.

Fancy finding an Ascona in a scrapyard, you seem to have plenty of good breakers up there!
OMG U OK HUN?
