Why the fuck can't our police deal with them like that. The stupid cunt acting like they had ripped his arm off when they pulled his hand off the road. Hopefully they all get a bit of a kicking in the van that took them away.
You don't fuck with the French police as they don't take any shit. You used to be able to get away with no end of daft shit at Le Mans until they toughened up a few years ago. A mate of mine thought it would be fun to do donuts round the roundabout. It didn't end well when he was dragged out of the car at gun point and everyone in the car was arrested. The group I was with had to have a whip round to get him out as his fine was over 2000 euro.

Don't know if you remember but there was a load of donutting going on somewhere around the outskirts of the circuit at that first Classic. I also remember getting breathalysed down there at that event - Plod stopped all the cars on British plates.

At the main race it got pretty bad and a lot of the time the cops took one look and fucked off quick until the shit hit the fan. Some twat rolled his TVR drifting round the roundabouts. By 2001 they had started toughening up and had speed traps on the roads back towards Calais pulling all the Brits. I was in a line of traffic when some idiot in a Ferrari over took us all. He had the shock of his life when a plod kangoo pulled out right in front of him. When you get out in the countryside you find that drink driving is a massive problem. Everytime I end up in a French guy's house whilst buying tat out comes the wine. As soon as you try to say no as you are driving they take that as a lame excuse.

As far out as that? Not in my experience.

My mate got fed up with people getting offended when he refused a drink because he was riding or driving.
So now he carries a few pills of some description in his wallet, so if he is ever offered a drink he doesn't want, he says he can't because he is on medication.

Works like a dream.

If it's folk I don't know I usually tell them its a bail condition. That shuts 'em up and very often gets rid of them.
