It is great, especially when nurtured.
Sadly, middle aged men on internet forums are ruining it. Pistonheads is terrible.

Re: 1974 Dolomite Sprint
I did in fact use the phrase 'stupid ignorant cunt' earlier on, but deleted it when I realised......
You work it out.
*It wasn't referring to you btw.

There is only one form of English and that's proper English English. Anything else is just mistakes.

It's harder to break it than you think, and I've popped quite a few out over the years without issue.

a firm palm of the hand against the top corners pushing outwards will see the top of the screen free. then press carefully all around, lay the duvet* on the bonnet so the screen can rest on it.

What happened to the 1100? Is it on the road yet? It’s not really 1100 weather though.

Re: 1974 Dolomite Sprint
I work with Americans, Polish, Romanian, Greek, New Zealanders, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, Germans, Spanish, Italian, Russian and many, many other nationalities. My work involves writing stuff that usually uses American spellings. Literally not bothered if anything is an Americanism, Europeanism or anything-ism. Life is too busy and short to worry about such shit. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:41 pm It depends of how trendy and down with the kids you're trying to be at 38 or whatever.

Needs front brakes unsticking (probably caliper rebuild/replace) and the clonk from the steering rack is irritating. Probably needs rack out and replace that shit bush that Minis also suffer from. Suspension has gone down on one side too, so will need a pump up again next. Will need to sort that a bit better and couple them together with a bit better than pipe + clamps. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 2:55 pm What happened to the 1100? Currently in storage out of the elements. It's survived 50 odd years of Scottish winters, so I'm sure it excepts this as a normal way of living the colder, wetter and saltier months. Being used as Dolomite seat storage at the moment as well.

Might as well bite the bullet and drop the frames to fit a rack and hydro pipes.
