Only the lid has rotted so that will be replaced.
Same issue with the Speedo housing

Going to try find a small piece of perspex and cut it to shape to fit the bowl.
Me and hooli have had a chat earlier about the wiring. We've decided to remove the lot and start from scratch. Using the reliant diagram and hoolis electrical knowledge we can draw up a new wiring diagram with appropriate colour codes, headlight and fan relays included that the reliant original diagram doesn't have. I'm on the lookout for bike bar switch gear to get rid of the rotary and toggle switch installed and that will also give me a main flasher too. Reversing light, rear fog and hazards are getting installed too

Just to clarify I didn't do the wiring on this before but was done by a previous owner.

Speaking to a man who knows it's been decided to remove the whole bloody lot and start afresh.

15mm or 1/2" who knows...

It's the heater bypass as a heater probably isn't much use on Roland.

Fit underfloor heating pipe in the seats...

Worryingly that'd probably work with the right pipe buried deep enough & a decent control valve.
