Roland's trials and tribulations

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Had it got a logbook as a trike? Probably worth a bit for that if it has.
Comes up as a blue Reliant. Not sure it can be legally with the chassis mods for the bike front end, but I'm no expert on trikes.

I dont think it should be either. Mine is on its original plates but I'm still using chassis down to the a frame steering assembly. That one has chassis but bike front welded on

Depends on when the chassis modifications were done.
Back in the day you could do things like that and it was OK(ish).
(and if you have any proof that that was when they were done)
I would suggest you flog the frame and forks off, just keep harvesting the useful parts for Roland.

You had a real score with that second trike !

Already sold it. Engine is unknown as fuel pump wont work,no spark and it feels rather tight. It's not been on road since 2011. I know my engine still runs so decided to do valve seals, headgasket etc.

Apart from the missing exhaust stud, the mayo and the head gasket covering a hole?

No, not with these glasses and that photo :P

It's all gone tits up. My friend was following my the night it gave out and about 30 seconds before I pulled up I felt a loss in power. That coincided with the heavy smoke from the back and painting his car in oil.

I am heading down the fire rings on the most left and the cylinder next to it. Both are blown through to what ever the 'ole is inbetween them
