Re: J9
That does look very nice Nigel. They certainly seem to be the new H van, popping up as mobile coffe shops everywhere. They are still plentiful and cheap in France as well. The sensible part of me says trailer it but it might be worth checking the track as I picked up a CF ice cream van some years ago and found it was too wide to fit on the trailer and had to drive it home. Hopefully he has got a pressure washer to tidy it up a bit then drive home.

Re: J9
Ta, all
Why? I like old French rammel, and these are cheap. I bought a 60’s j7 camper several years back, and found it simple to work on. I’ve a 73 HY sub van in the barn for many years, and have owned several Estafettes, inc a pickup. They are too fragile though
It looks like I’m helping my Dad sort a replacement house over in Normandy, and i’ll need a damn big van. Sadly, this will be dog slow, but should carry loads. His tractor may even go in the back.
Collection depends on where it’s going, I’m going to try and keep it in France, but it may need to come here for registration (CG dependant).
Martin, i’ll Dolly it ( I’ve a huge 4 wheeler) or 3.5 ton A frame behind a 4 wd. But there’s no rush.
If of interest, i’ll Update as time permits

Re: J9
Yes interest!
I recently got talking to a chap who had a camper one of these. It started life as a LWB panel van but he decided it was too long so cut the middle section out of it and shortened it!

Re: J9
Any chance of a photo tour of your collection Nigel?
I probably haven't heard of half of your stuff and it would be great to have a virtual poke about.

Re: J9
Thanks, I’d have preferred a J7 again, but that’s serious money - mine was peanuts.( in comparison)
Drum, I can’t put up every vehicle. It’s too embarrassing. I’ll be admitting to alcoholising& womanising next! I’ll talk about those currently ‘ in the frame’.
When I’m next back in the UK.
