Re: EBay Finds
No, it was the missus and eldest that loved it. Being bright orange didn't help either, I could feel my balls shrink whenever I got in.
I suppose it was pretty reliable though, unlike the thing that we don't mention, well at least as much as we should.

Surprised at you Mr Sic……seems a bit of a cunt’s trick to win the auction and then notice things afterwards and retract a bid??SiC wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 6:02 pm I did bid on this and was the highest bidder.
Found this article which suggests it's a good runner.

But then looking on a computer screen I realised the paint had runs

And spiders embedded into the paintwork

So I retracted my bid.
Also I like the look of wire wheels but not sure I could live with them. It's a car I'd want to chuck around a lot and wire wheels aren't supposed to be great for that.

Re: EBay Finds
Yeah that's correct, it hadn't finished and still bidding. As chance would have it, it sold for £300 more than my highest bid.
Still on the lookout for a Midget but zero Chrome bumper cars anywhere near me at the moment.

Re: EBay Finds
It did and I'd probably have bidded if it wasn't for those wire wheels. I like the look of them but I know they'd just piss me off in the end.
Not much left on now, especially coming up to winter. Quite like this one though. Just irritatingly far away and I haven't had time to think about travelling over to look at it. Its at a price level where its enough that I'd want to have it looked at before committing.

Re: EBay Finds
Spitty is definitely something I'm after too. This is tempting but I think I'd prefer a Midget first. Plan to have both eventually and complete* the collection, so I don't need to buy another car again (yeah right ).

hmm? Can't be that bad? Christ. Was it painted with sheets of sandpaper?the paintwork is hand done and not good – the photos flatter it considerably
