You can see the weeds have grown around it as it never moves. 32 miles since the last mot. New battery too.

We had Mrs SiC granddad's Astra G a few years back as a stop gap when buying our first house. Never had a car where other drivers despise you so much. Also every Vauxhall I've driven has done my back in. Something about their seats are just shit.

I have a soft spot for them when I see them, but a drive of one evaporates it pretty quickly.

I think this is a pretty cool car with a nice bit of patina

No mention of the condition of the chassis or bulkhead. Lots of original features though.

The royal parks still have some older Series Land Rovers in use (if the LEZ and ULEZ haven't done for them although I'm guessing they probably call into some exemption category).
I was amazed the first time I saw one around and about.

I believe anything in the historic tax class is exempt.

Series Land Rovers are brilliant.
Until you drive one more than about 5 miles.

I still love them though.

Also, that bitsa travesty above needs killed with fire.

Agreed, if you're over about 5'8" you can't see out for starters. The top of the windscreen is too low.
