Yeah it does amuse me that people think a carb that fits loads of different engines will just be setup right for theirs.

Re: Two wheels good.
I think I've found my random electrical blip on the 14. Just occasionally the clocks etc would reset while riding, normally on days it'd randomly cough & splutter a bit too.
I balanced the throttles yesterday as I knew that needed doing, it helped but didn't resolve it. So today I checked the ECU as the water drain blocks up occasionally. Yeah, that'll be it! remember that can of tyre weld exploding while I was away? well I know where it all went now. The ECU was wrapped in a 2" deep soaking coating of foam & mank, some had even worked inside the edges of the connector but thankfully no evidence of corrosion on the pins.
Anyway, scraped it all out and cleaned things up. Cleared the drain hole & put it all back with a little ACF-50 on the connector (it says it can be used for connectors in adverse conditions). So I'll see how that goes when I take it out tomorrow.

Re: Two wheels good.
Little run out to Bridlington today, just 200ish miles as a quick test. Fish n chips too. Looks like the stutter etc is fixed, which is nice.
Nice too considering it's only March.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Another one seemingly abandoned at London City Airport. It hasn’t moved for more than six months. It belongs to a Polish woman who works (worked?) in the airport. Maybe she’s buggered off home?

Looks like a Yamaha Dragster 650.
I know fuck all about those types of m/c. My former landlord had one, so it's my stock answer.

It's not a "classic" version as that had a full rear mudguard and fatter tyre because Harley fatboy clone.

Re: Two wheels good.
A mate posted up a picture of one bike not long ago that's been seemingly abandoned on the IOM, British registered, all laden up with full soft luggage, not moved for many months, put it on a Facebook bikers group or 2 and got a right slagging from some folks for being nosey and putting a picture of it on! His primary concern was what had happened to the riderbrandersnatch wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 7:52 am 3E0CADC6-6236-47B0-8223-A962DF22CAFA.jpeg
