Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

I had a 1wd for version a short while. Not sophisticated. Pretty tough. Comprehensive road test 😂

But you're only needing to quote In the same thread!

I'd like to try one, but I suppose for the hell of it I'd get a big bastard like a Watsonian Oxford then spend ages working out how to strap it to the RT.

Ive ridden a few properly sorted outfits and they were nice, mine always tried to tie their spindly forks in a knot. I thought it would be a good idea to start from scratch and build a 3 wheeler from bits that were intended to corner without leaning.

I know, there's not much frame to attach to!

Tripteq do a nice chassis for it. (And also as a left-hand version)

I'd end up searching out snow with it so 2wd means I could get stuck much more impressively!

My mate had his 900 Hornet nicked last night.
Not being a Facebook type, he rang a local mate who is, to be told it was stuck up to its nuts, in a field, about 5 minutes walk away.
Last night was particularly cold here, below freezing, so, the bike was stuck there, frozen into the field and immobile. Had been hotwired but, no other damage, silly fucker didn't even have the steering lock on, probably for the best, as they'd most likely have smashed it off anyway.
The farmer turned up and lifted it out with his telehandler and brought it back home for him. Turns out, it's the second blue 900 Hornet to be stolen from Ley Hill and abandoned, stuck in the same field in 2 months.
I reckon someone has a broken one in Chesham and has asked some local scrotes to nick a similar one for bits but, they're too stupid.

At least he got it back relatively undamaged.
I don't know anyone else, myself included, who's ever had a bike nicked and seen it again.

Bike thieves need their arms breaking once a month for life to discourage reoffending.

Duh! (Techno meathead mode engaged)

To fit a chair to your RT you’d need a special sub frame. (According to the Watsonian web site.)
Hey, there's only room for one meathead on here!

I had my aprillia rs125 nicked form outside my house. The splines on the gear selector was fucked (I'd been waiting for one from Italy for three fucking months) and it was un rideable.
A mate found it burnt out less than a mile away down by the riverside. I can't remember if it was insured.
