I got told off by a pillion on friday evening, there is a lovely tightening left off the M62 roundabout to the A19 when heading north. It's a great one to play one, I didn't think a pillion would mean pegs down though....

She's a touch nervous so not the happiest at such things, I'd best be more careful next time lol

Was she a heavy bird? Might explain the bike scraping its ass on the corners.

No I do have standards ya know. The rear suspension has always been a bit soft though as they aren't the original shocks on it.

It will be H76TAH, I found an old insurance certificate.
Didn't have it long as it was well shagged out and the odometer was clearly an entry for the Booker Fiction prize.
I got an MOT on it, as it only had a short test, fixed the indicators, you will probably find the the two rear indicators have different length steams as one is really a front indicator, (it was what I had to hand).
I sold it in 2013 to a guy in Bathgate, from the MOT site looks like he did nothing with it for years.

At least when I got rid of mine, the crappy Kawasaki rear shocks were in the bin and it had a pair of Koni Dial-a-rides on.

From notes found Oct/Nov 99, it averaged 47.9mpg and 95RON U/L was about 75ppl

More disturbing is that my old blue one, whilst on SORN now, seems to have been triked...

I turned one into a GTZ 750... well, I put GPZ panels and a tank on a GT, did some pretty paintwork and an N-ETA exhaust and it looked great. Did it for a friend as he wanted a shaft driven GPZ and Kawasaki, the fools, didn't do one. They missed a sale there...

Could use it for my daily commute now that I'm down to a transit tipper as my only working vehicle. Might have to drag the allegro out the shed.

I had an early 550. Not the most inspiring ride but reliable enough. My starter was tempremental but it could be bump started easily when warm. If it was cold then wedging the cap off a Bob Heath visor spray aerosol behind the spring loaded choke slider to keep it open helped a lot. Front forks were a bit shit. A friend commented that anyone riding it had to make an appointment with the front brake to stop. Usual Kawasaki clutch rattle. Mine was a '92 on a K plate, later examples have the Zephyr engine. Rear light looks like it was made to keep butter in. Handling safe but no fun on a twisy road. Watch for rust on the oil cooler pipes.

Mlor has put me off that particular example. I should have persevered with the GS650GT I sold earlier this year.
