I welded a hollow cat into a friends Ford Galaxy in replacement of the one that has been sawed off in the night.

I also mowed a hedgehog. Poor bastard.

I saw the references over here. A spot of morbid curiosity made me look on the beige but I then spotted the LBG twaddle thread. Fucked if I am going to read that, if indeed that is where the shrieking is going on. What the bloody buggery fuck is all that about on a car forum?

Did fuck all today but spent yesterday afternoon fitting new wheel cylinders and shoes to arse end of the Datsun, spent an hour attempting to weld a nut on one of the rear adjusters- the hopeless things with a 1/4" square drive. Would it weld- would it fuck, ended up blobbing enough weld on the sides of the thing to turn it into a sort of thumbscrew I could get an adjustable spanner around.
