What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

If anything like me probably pissing it up the wall having a bloody good time. My cars never got any better no matter how much I earned......
I inherited 5 figures last year, I still drive my Hilux Surf every day.
Granted, a few cars came and went while I was busy spending it all but, I stuck with my old faithful Surf.
The Mrs has a modern car now which I quite like but barely drive. All my day to day stuff is done in the Hilux, longer journeys, I generally take the Granvia, it doesn't vibrate at speed like the Hilux and is a better seating position.
If I want to go somewhere local, quickly, I take the Octavia, use the DSG gearbox and have fun doing it.
Seats are far too bucket like for long distance for me though, I'd rather take one of the old Toyotas.
Assuming those 5 figures weren't subuteo footballers I'm surprised you've not bought yourself a nice but of land

If it wasn't for the pandemic, I would be a land owner in Portugal by now.
As it is, I live and work in the south east of England.
Can't buy fuck all round here.

Edit to add.
I do have my eye on the bit of land my Hobby is on.
It's worth fuck all as it's pasture land and the caravan shouldn't be there anyway. It's so far out the way, no footpath within a mile, I reckon I can come to an agreement with the farmer.

I thought you were up North! Where in the South East are you there's a couple of firms I've worked with desperate for a decent brickie in the Surrey/ Sussex area.

Out of sight of prying/ theiving eyes there's no reason for them to moan about a caravan, tell them it's a tack/ food store for the horses out something if anybody ever enquires..

I'm in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. About 5 miles from the Chorleywood/Rickmansworth junction on the M25.
It's been there coming on for 3 years now and I've had no complaints or kids getting into it so far.

Called and left my number regarding a 2005 Mustang that's been parked up for a long time near me. I've literally got no idea what it's worth just thought it would be cool to run about it. However having looked on eBay if the prices there are anything to go by it's well out of my league.

Used all my Waxoyl up the other day so ordered more from (the hated by everyone but me) Amazon along with a BIG can of WD40 and a new cafetierre ( to replace the one I broke while washing it as I was thinking about other things - dog) and sliced my hand open badly. Wax and WD arrived in less than 12 hours but still waiting for the coffee thing.

Great service I think?

Also I cannot spell the coffee making thing properly, help me out someone!
