Is that something to look out for on these then?

I'm only being a cunt, I noticed the water was going down and me feet were still dry. This must at be a faulty Friday afternoon Freelander. 20 years old and never had its head off. In a few minutes all will be revealed and it will have reached a crossroad in its life. One sign points to a head gasket, the other is a spot of machining at BW Riddles just down the road.

A mate of mine is selling a 200 Tdi for spares / repairs, if you're interested. I think he's after £450 for it.
On the road:
1998 Disco 4.0 V8 (manual)
1994 Vauxhall Calibra 3.0 V6

Running but need fettling:

1986 Honda CBX750F
1991 Maserati 222 SE
1990 Yamaha XJ900F

Tax & MOT-exempt, woohoo!

1982 Suzuki GSX1100SZ Katana

Thanks but I have another 200Tdi Disco on the drive awaiting welding and no more storage space.

Yes, some of the rust has managed to hang onto the plastic bits :)

It is currently on 226000 miles, I want to get it to 238901 miles before I give up on it.
(earth to the moon) ;)

I bought the first as an engine donor with some MoT ... erm ... years ago but it was too good to break and too willing to do whatever was asked of it.
Also it pissed off the pcp wankers at work and we have got quite fond of it.
