What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Mines a 30/31PICT so I don't think it'd be suitable.

Sold the Panhard today and have bought the DKW hopefully it will be delivered next week. I have lost a few hundred on the Panhard but I just wasn't feeling the love for it so time for a change again. I have also got my eye on a Renault 16TX in France which might work out but will be a coupe of months before I can go and get it.

Tomorrow weather permitting it's off to put some fresh fuel in it and give it a little bit of exercise as it hasn't been driven since September.
Mission successful. Went off to the BP to put some sooper dooper unleaded in, 36 quid later off we go again rumbling along quite nicely, didn't even encounter any of the '40 on an NSL road codgers' thankfully. Mind you I could blast past them with no problem should the opportunity arise. Got some thumbs up which is always nice. I are well pleased.

I'll double check numbers when I'm home. I'm currently picking up another reliant rat trike.

Driving at low speed when I heard a bang from the rear of the Octavia.
Spring pan in the nearside rear suspension arm rotted so well that the spring has punched though it...
Ten years old in March this year.

They don't make cars like they used to...

Mad Wife in the Attic suggested that it wasn't just the spring that popped through the bottom :o

The green 318Ti gained another year's MOT today.

730i on Monday. Both have/had 7-8 days left and whilst I could have had the free 6 month extension, I like MOT's to expire in Spring/Summer.
