What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Dads been polishing the Minx and it’s coming up well.
He’s tuned up the engine and taken it for a longer run, no issues, it drives well, even at 50mph there’s no wheel wobble and he’s managed to free off the sticking brakes, although I’ve got a reconditioned set of wheel cylinders to put on it when the time comes.
The speedo went up to 20mph on the inaugural run and hasn’t moved since, unsure if it’s the cable or the gauge at fault.
Also, can anyone with experience of these cars tell me if they’re naturally cramped for tall drivers? The bench seat does move back but not enough for either of us to drive it comfortably.

Your missus finally finding numerous stashes of stuff that you never told her about or wanting a new 3 piece suite?
She bought the 3 piece suite already!
No, just trying to rationalise the assets*. Rationalise is the wrong word, but can't think of the correct one right now.

Two sheds full of vehicles and spares, a driveway full of rusting scrap and even I'm fed up of it. I will try to build a shed/barn big enough to store all my shite eventually. No point building a nice house then surrounding it with a scrap yard!

This appears terminal. The chances of a full recovery are slim.

I think someone has hacked his account. The scrap yard existed before the house if I remember correctly.

Remember when Hoolis got hacked and some sensible posts were made from it?

It is nice to hear from Mrs Drum though and maybe one day she'll let him have his account back.

Where you went wrong is building the garage first but moving into it rather than putting the vehicles away and living in a caravan

If he's still alive.

If she's only just found out about all the potato sorters, conveyors etc. I doubt it. Just think how many sets of made to measure curtains the money spent on them could have bought.
