Re: What did you do today?
Whilst we're sort of on a dog theme I ordered some more dogfood.
£11.49 a pack at the end of May.
£13.99 today!
We're seeing deer in the copse every few days; I think a change of diet is required.

Yup, I can't believe how much basic dog nosh has gone up £88 to £143 (for a months supply) in about 8 months. someone, somewhere is taking the piss and/or is making a fortune based on us stupid people with animals.

Oh yes as a warning: certain members 'may' be triggered by this post. you have been warned.
While I'm not actually using the Jag I do still check it every day and saw, much to my dismay, another dull patch right by the side of the bootlid, looks like the polish the bodyshop used (not polish, compound) has affected it. I had to wait until just now for the weather to cool down enough (not for my comfort you understand but to not damage the cars paintwork) and went and polished just that bit. Seems to be fine now but I shall worry for the rest of time in case it comes back!

Re: What did you do today?
I think that the price of grain thanks to Putins little expedition has had a major impact. Even my breakfast crumpets have gone up from 99p to £1.25 a pack recently. Is nothing sacred?

Re: What did you do today?
Took the MG out for a run around the local lanes about 7am before the tourists start clogging up the roads.
I'm so glad I bought a roadster rather than a GT.
I've had a hardtop for it for about 40 years and it's never moved from the garage.

I don't maintain it, the local village garage does as I'm well aware how shit I am at it.
