What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Got delayed until the emergency services arrived. Guy blacked out and put his car off the road into a tree.

My mate took lots of photos of the bikes there, which included a couple of CZ 125 motox bikes, which I'll put here when he sends them to me.

Leaving Slovakia tomorrow, and my mate took us to see his friend Peter who "messes about" with cars and bikes. He was not kidding. Importantly all of them run and drive.

Home made sand drag car (for 100 metre races), restorations of a Buick convertible, a 1920 Skoda 3.0 litre straight six, couple of race cars (one front engined, one rear engined), a few old bikes (NSU and Harleys) and a properly cafe racered Honda CX500. That was stunning and taken two years to get to to this stage.

He said he is looking for a 1956 Buick, so if anyone knows where there is one (preferably near to Slovakia) he would be most interested. Let me know and I'll pass details on.

That sand racer looks like a laugh. Especially with the v8.
