What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

The Jag bumper is damaged on the corner and has barely any laquer hanging on. I need to get brave and try the rear mounting bolts to see if the are seized in place. Plan B is it will get rattle canned in situ.

And in further Jag news I emailed the garage that serviced it for years and got the following answer. Present mileage is 99k so that's a bonus.

Yeah I hear those bolts normally snap, enjoy.

I know with the work I've had done on mine every bolt on the gearbox sump snapped & those bumper bolts did too.

Not what did I do today but last night I only managed to sleep for about a hour at a stretch before back pain woke me up, at which point I had to pee. It was ridiculous I should be dehydrated this morning by rights.

New all season van tyres have turned up. Couple of jobs to do in my old local then I'll get them fitted. The rear tyres are 5 or 6mm tread conti's if anyone wants them.

I seem to have a Zafira A 1.6 win.

It's somewhat tired. And scrapey. Very.

After an hour and a half it now has functioning rear brakes and less scraping. Temp reprieve it seems, it needs discs and a pair of rear calipers or these refurbished (Bigg Redd possibly).

Basic maintenance not carried out.
