What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Even a flid like me had it done in ten minutes and the lazy ten mile test amble through the Stour valley didn't throw up any worrying developments. Using it for work tomorrow now I've checked the weather. IMG_20200531_134308.jpg
Loving the fix and especially the use of flid. Well played.

Fluids checked, bits greased and windows cleaned. All ready for work in the morning.

That's the only downer working from home - not being able to drive my old stuff to work. Cowley has still managed 150 miles during lockdown, though.

Back home again trouble free. And isn't it funny how some people react to being overtaken by an old car?

Bought this last night. Getting delivered to the North East from Leicester on Friday. If it all goes to plan of course.

Looks to be UKDM?

Missing the clock under the radio. Wrong knob too!

Has the proper working oil pressure gauge, rather than go/no-go idiot gauges on later cars.

Santa fe spring went from being fine to falling apart into four pieces while the car was sitting stationary for a few weeks.

I suppose that bottom ball joint having a split rubber boot will be an mot failure. Usually these are bolted to the wishbone, but this seems to be part of it. There's not much rebound in the damper either.
