Re: What did you do today?
Couple of error messages. Hopefully they'll go with a drive.
Fuck that atm though.

Re: What did you do today?
It took a fair bit of cranking before it fired. I probably should have let the glow plugs do their thing but on the otherhand it proves the battery is okay.
It did take five minutes or so with the battery connected to even do anything. A bit twitchy arse moment. I presume it was all the computers resetting.

That's a bloody good result, especially as your better half hadn't fried the electrics.

Re: What did you do today?
Yes, I'm very relieved. I've had it for a decent run down the coast, normal service is resumed and the error messages are gone.
Robson got in touch last night and he said he'd flattened the battery a few months ago by leaving the boot open and it took ages for it to get some charge in from the alternator.
I think the freeze we had just dropped the charge too much and the car shut down altogether. I reckon the ctek has revived it and it'll be as good as new.

Re: What did you do today?
I think I've found a Midget (finally). Didn't intend to get a project ... but it's a project. Naturally I think I'm getting a good price.
Will post more once I've sorted out thing a bit more.

Re: What did you do today?
Went here;
looked around this bit;
Eventually found what I was looking for;
Back tomorrow or Friday with my step ladders, I'm too old to be swinging off car doors these days.
