You could really creep people out if you started playing some of the weirder EVP recordings out there.

Really isn't easy blending that, the clear coat is thick.
Left off here for tonight. Not great but better than it was.

Wiped over and given a coat of clear; going to see if that can be flatted down and look any better.

I'd like to know how best to deal with lacquer peel, short of a full respray. Hopefully a new coat of lacquer sorts it.

I've got a Disco that needs its lacquer sorted as well so I would be interested in a "how to " as well.
( The Disco's lacquer is so knackered it could be described as knacker lacquer ... )

I seem to remember our red Citroen would have needed a full respray as the paint had faded differently where the lacquer had come off.
That was probably a combination of red and Citroen though.

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain
That's the problem on this side- I think the car was parked one way round for a long time. You can see the color differential where the lacquer is, and it's kinda purple, where I've polished the paint itself it's blue. The other side the paint under the lacquer is there same blue as the paint itself.
This side is going to look a bit shit
