Why bother? You've got six good ones.

(I'd be stripping it down and replacing all the rings.)

Ran out of daylight.

Bought some special chrome polish, on recommendation from somebody in the show car circles. Called Quick-Glo. It's taken all the old polish compound out of the pits in the surface, which were making it look dull.

Granted, it'll never look perfect but it's improved it significantly. Great for old tired brightwork.

Sounds ideal for Mrs Rocker's pram wheels, some of which are a little spotty but don't actually go out in the wet......Looks like it is available here in two grades at least.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

I bought the fine. It's actually done a halfway decent job on the door handles, which look like 60's public school bathroom fittings (craters on the moon, chromed pot metal).

I'm going to carry on buffing it up, it's getting better with each iteration.

Considering the stuff is made about 50 miles away, I had to order it on Amazon... It came in from Oklahoma.

Which works great for new chrome. However, as a cream, it dries white, and that gets stuck in the pores of older chrome. This stuff does not dry like that, it's much clearer.
