Looked up the VIN today.

Apparently this left the factory with a big block 361.

361 BB that's pretty unusual isn't it? Wonder what that is powering now.
Are they worth enough to bother fitting the correct motor back in it out just stuck with the 318?

I was thinking about it but the LA is available in the same displacements as the B and I already have all the bolt-on stuff that fits the LA.

I'm just waiting for the exchange rate to hit 2:1....

Pommy Kev as he was known in Mopar circles made a tired 318 go really well in an Aussie Valiant with the aid of nitrous

No, it was quite a surprise to find one.

It was really strange, my name was even on the title. Bizarre!

It stopped raining long enough to apply hammers to the drip rail. I had previously had a go at it and got it kinda straight but with the car out in the open and being able to step back and look at it more critically it was noticably bent.

Now it's straight enough for the trim to go back on, it even has the correct slight curve down into the corner.

I found the trim that goes on that gutter. It was twisted to hell because it wouldn't come off.

Looks as though it should clip back on properly.

The two large holes in the rear-window shelf look exactly like they were made for loudspeakers. A pair of rear speakers (stereo) seems very advanced for 1966. First year of 8-track or were there stereo radios for cars by ‘66? (The stereo radio system was only standardised in ‘61)

Would look great with a pair of lurid coloured 6x9s and a blinky light up Ripspeed head unit.
