Remember this?

Well, in the 3 months since I sold it, the new owner has proved that they're a dribbling fucking retard. A complete donkey-felching windowlicker.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133888510410

It's had a 2.0 straight 6 shoved in it. It's a half-finished, half-witted, half-baked project with no MOT that doesn't run right, and they want £2,700 for it!
Seriously, is there some kind of zombification virus, which I'm immune to, that compels people to do that to E36s?

I know, I know. They paid for it, it's their car to do with as they please, but what an insulting fate. I'd rather it was scrapped.

In other news, I've now ordered a spare key for the 323i.
Which I will be keeping. Forever. The only way it's leaving my ownership is via a scrap yard. I'll also personally watch them cube it so it doesn't get turned into yet another fucking DrIfT cAR M9.

They are still not expensive enough to put off the drift m8 idiots.

To go through the aggro of fitting a 6 cylinder and then choose the shittest one is an act of idiocy.

Why would you bother fitting a 2.0? Is it a drift thing?

Only reason I can guess, & I'm sure RBJ would say if I'm correct, is you've then done the work for fitting the six & can drop the bigger one straight in once you can afford it?

Given the sort of people who tend to buy E36s in that neck of the woods they probably already had the drivetrain from a crashed/rotten car.

Shiny new spare key. It works though, so that's all that matters.

Genuine barn find m9.
Sacked off the M3 replica mirrors and put proper ones on.

Also did some Land Rover stuff:

It drove out of the shed! Probably the first time it moved under its own power in roughly 30 years... Sounds sweet and starts very keenly.

Bugger it, I'm on mobile. Somebody else can fix the YouTube link.

Love the driver's seat probably as comfortable as the proper one.
