At least in Aberdeen, my E36s never even got a second glance. They were just old piles of shit.

It's far easier and far more lucrative for the wee scrotes to break into somebody's house and steal the key to the brand new Audi RS4 on the drive, or even just fire up their laptop and spectrum analyser and do a keyless theft.

I had a look in the spare wheel well yesterday:

If only I had 3 more of those! The same design of wheel that was on the 320i automatic coupe I had back in 2018-2019.

I also lubed up the boot and passenger door locks, and got them working. I like being able to grab something from the boot then just flick the boot lock, locking the whole car in the process.

The V5 arrived yesterday. Bloody quick turnaround, seeing as I only bought it a week ago today. I can go to the local BMW dealer now and get a spare key ordered up. They quoted me £60 all-in for a key. Not bad at all.

Hmmm. Free postage? Like hell it will be.

Anyway, the wheels are fairly low down the priority list. It has a full set of good condition Continentals on it right now. I also even have a spare set of horrible E90 16" alloys in my parents' barn complete with winter tyres on them! They really are horrible though.

I'll get a spare key ordered up next. Then when I can get it into somebody's unit locally I'll take the centre console out and look at the wiring. Not only is the lighter socket dead, but the handbrake light doesn't illuminate. Those are both under the centre console. Luckily it's not too difficult to remove on these.
