I do not have a hangar.
I would like a hangar.
Current.
D3 2007
D2 2001
Frontera 1992
Vectra 2006
Scudo 2002
Fiesta 1990
Some rationalisation occuring. Probably.
Scudo awaiting headlamp for MOT.
Vectra just passed with a caliper and some bits etc.
D2 due in sat.
Hmmm. I suppose I'd better do threads for some / all .
Hangar update III
Re: Hangar update
Hmm.
D3 2007
Working as intended. Supremely capable. Not that bad on fuel. Has that unstoppable feel about it. So that's screwed that now I mentioned it.
D2 2001.
Two balljoinnts, chassis welding and a wiring repair later, MOT.
Will post a pic up at some pojnt, or split the threads. Maybe.
Frontera Sport 92.
Still not fitted rear springs, clutch slave cylinder or rear drums and shoes. Still starts and drives. Nominally sold.
Scud. Sold.
Fiesta 1990 2.0 Zetec.
Fiesta not moved since MOT.
Awaiting fuel lines, tank out for sender fetrling- gauge reads backwards.
Needs a lower engine mounting and someone who can put more time in to it really
It's warm and dry more importantly.
Had an offer to break it for parts- it's got RS1800 ecu and various bits that would fetch decent money. I'd rather not mind, it having made it this far.
Vectra C 2006.
Mot. Check.
Service. Check.
Coolant flush. Check.
Wiper linkage -fell off. Replacement arm. Fell off. Awaiting fitment of two new arms. Sold. So naturally bits fall off now.

Re: Hangar update II
The OE ones lasted 14 odd years, of various owners and no doubt a selection of frozen to screen incidents.
Cheap replacement-utter shit.
Going to fit these today, if it warms up. Currently -5c here.

Fleet update.
I see no threads because 'lazy'.
D3 - well, the old HDC/limp mode in action. New bulbs and brake lamp switch incoming. Also front lower rear arm bushes because 2.7 tonnes.
D2 - n/s/f axle seal isn't. Other than that, faultless in a mad-Max style.
Frontera - 'embarrasedcoughdonenothing'
Fiesta - found some proper Ford fuel pipes. Awaiting fitment.
Vectra - Sold.
Ducati - passed it's MOT. Replaced osr indicator lense again because small hands in garage/it's itailian stuff falls off.
------
New - P38.
Yes, I know.
Cloth, No sunroof, manual, 2.5 DT (old BMW six). Slightly tired. Like me really...as you were.

P38s always look a lot better than the reality everyone documents.
