I had a 1967 Impala that was on radials, it looked shit because they were quite low profile, it also dragged its exhaust everywhere. I swapped it over onto to some proper size crossplys complete with white stripes that were probably older than the car , it looked and rode loads better. The only problem came the first time I took it on the motorway and went above 60, fucking thing needed at least two lanes and I was sawing at the wheel like an actor in an old film.

My 1989 240DL does - and keep fit windows.

By contrast, in 1989 all BMWs were fuel injected.
Nice I like it and I raise you semaphore indicators.

Again, commercial vehicles throw a curve-ball but the P100 Fords were bench seaters. Not sure about the Sierra face but the Corty ones were.

I suppose that horrid fiat multipla thing is as near to a bench as you are likely to get now. The Dispatch euro van things have a single and a pair of seats but commercial so don't really count. I think the Bentley has a foot operated dip but I haven't driven either of mine in the dark for a while.

I've got a feeling the Peugeot 504 cars may have been available with getting bench as special order, it was standard in the pickups till the end

According to Factoids on Steve Wright In The Afternoon, the Lexus Sc430 was the last car fitted with a tape player.

A couple of years ago there was an FE Victor with a bench seat and column charge on EBay. Never seen one in real life and I don’t know when they stopped making them but must be in the running for last British car so equipped.
Not including Daimler Ds420 and Rolls Phantom Vl of course.
