Weren’t they a relaunch Phoenix type attempt using old shells? I remember the local Honda (bike) dealers having them in the showroom as they seemed to be aimed at bikers with families and an aversion to winter riding.

My escort has rubber flooring and no carpet. Overdrive with manual box I'm unsure of but I'd say a early 90s volvo. my auto R plate avensis was 3 speed with overdrive and had a factory sony cd and cassette.

I think the new Citroen Ami thing has drum brakes all round along with manual steering. I like drums all round myself but a plastic blob with a top speed of 28 mph going to persuade anyone else that they're wonderful.
