To be honest, I don't think we'd make it before Spring anyway.
In further news, something unparallel happened today - literally. In the midst of a downpour, the driver's side wiper arm became adrift. I managed to catch it through the open window before it got blown off entirely. I have now carried out a temporary repair, but I guess the search for new wiper arms has begun.
