Car popped up for sale local to me. Mercedes w202 c250 turbo diesel automatic. Short mot but up for 500. Decent mot history,never welded but it's got 220k nearly on clock. Anyone more knowledgeable on them than me please tell me if its worth a punt and sell c4 instead?

Well I'm taking a guess it's never welded. Had no signs on mot history of corrosion and never had advisories on rust or needed welding. I'm not fussed about welding though,owning citroen picassos does that to you to be honest. They rot sills for fun. I'm more interested in the engine and gearbox reliability, electrical issues and things like that.

Try the seating position, if I'm thinking of the correct model I find them painful after a short while, as in stop at every services to walk about and virtually have to crawl out of the drivers side
