Over on the beige about ten years ago our own quietside started a thread asking our thoughts on Remembrance Sunday. For many years every November, it'd be respectfully bumped onto the main page and nobody complained. Then one year their mods took offence and relegated it to the open section never to be seen again.

One of the reasons I binned autoshite was Mr bollocks pronouncing that anyone with a remberance sticker was some sort of knuckle dragging racist or similar. Truly pissed me off that statement did

Despite his undoubted interest in old cars I really did find him a bit of a cunt. Sentiments such as that seemed to gain some kind of sanctity over there in the end. Breadvan was another one....

I met Mr Bollox once in real life and he's an OK bloke. That was before Brexit though.

I'm sure he is OK - a lot of us are. It is the tolerance of one viewpoint and stamping on others that I objected to. Brexit did seem to offend him, though.....

In the end, like Dean, I walked away from it as it was no longer a place I wanted to be.

I tried to re-join over there the other week just so I can click the links on this thread linking to their woes, but again, I was blocked/banned.

We went through the rega few times using the phonetic alphabet.
I left the V5 in your van with the other bits, you can tax it off the new keeper part unless the new V5 is here :)

The log book has literally just been posted.
Less than three days. Why are they so fucking incompetent with everything else though?Look at the three month hassel I had trying to get my plate off my own fucking van.

Maybe the online logbooks are fully automated now. That would explain it. Anything with human intervention is just a massive fuck on and fuck up.
