Oddly enough at 6'2" I fit them like a glove. A former friend is an inch shorter than me and can't fit in them because he's got a longer body but shorter legs than me. See also Porsche Boxter. I knew there was a benefit to having a short body/penis.

Sadly fate will stop me from ever owning an MX5, whenever I've gone to buy one something's got in the way. I missed one due to having to rush home as parent had suffered a small stroke and the next one I was off to buy I missed out on because as I was leaving work an unexploded WW2 bomb was found on site.

Boxster can have the GT3 centre console delete which makes a bit more room for the long legged folk.

MX5 leg room can be improved with Lotus Elise seats.

I'm lucky* in that I am 5ft10, so can fit in any sports car of any era comfortably. Pretty much seemed to be designed for my height and build.

it's a smashing little car which performed very well on track - right up until the point I had a go and broke it :( still feel a bit guilty about that - at least I had the decency to break my own the next time out

some piss poor footage of me struggling to keep up with paul

the back end of my car was all over the place as I'd taken off the kyb/eibach suspension and fitted original (~25 year old) mk1 shocks and springs - hilarious but couldn't corner for shite. has since been replaced with a mk2 set up which has steadied things a bit.

I thought I'd join the little red car in. It needs a full service. There's no history and the reciepts I do have are when it's been a required repair not regular service. The oil is quite clean but I'm not sure it's ever been changed. I've known the car for eight or nine years when it was owned by his daughter who didn't have two pennies to rub together.
Full service kit has been ordered for less than £40. An extra tenner for the aux belt.
The wiper on the front was only 16" when it should be 26" I swapped that out this morning.
The engine is tiny and looks a piece of piss to work on.

New mats went in and I connected my phone to the bluetooth thing so I now have tunes and dab radio six. Not sure if these trims oare standard. They lost one so bought a set of four. He has the other three in the shed for me.
He told me it's got new shocks, discs and pads on the front.
I blew the tyres up as the pressures were all over. From 18psi to 36. Should be 33 all round.

Those wee blue tooth transmitters are good. I have a couple and it means I can get music off my phone even through the Oldsmobile's old standard radio.
