Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

WTC I'm not sure any idea how to tell?

SIC didn't seem to respond to doing what it shows in the video, got it scanned and there were no codes recorded for anything including the security system.

Immobiliser playing up on Maverick again, common theme is keys were in my pocket whilst it was pissing down. I don't understand how this can stop it reading the chip though.
Going to put it in a tray of rice.
Still raining hard so no chance of getting out and seeing if any connections on the vehicle have got damp.
Car is pointing the other way to last time (slightly uphill) so unlikely to have run in the same place

Barrelling it at the door and crossing the wires used to bypass Ford security.

Security has improved since those times, clearly what I need is an Eastern European with an old Nokia and an OBD2 connector...

Fast flash is key not recognised I think

I hate to state the obvious, but have you got a spare key?

Yes down in West Sussex and we've never tried it.... Might need to get it sent next day if we can get someone to go in to our place and actually find the right one

Taping the chip bit of the key inside the steering column cowling is the usual way to keep a Transit running.

I just can't figure why the damp would make a difference to it reading the chip or not.

Pissing it down outside still too, got the key hung up near the heater now because we ate the rice for tea!
