Well it failed the mot which didn't trow up too many surprises. It needs front discs to go with the pads, rear pads need changing as well. The O/S handbrake linkage was seized and just wanted freeing off. The c/o is high but not far out so a little adjustment should put that right. The washer pump is seized and there is one brake pipe needs replacing. The annoying bits are there is a bit of hydraulic fluid leaked from under the manifold when he jacked it up. I am hoping this is just fluid trapped there from when I resealed the pump as both pumps are dry. Last and most expensivly it needs a n/s/r shock. Another 811 quid and the parts are on the way. I do get a pretty decent discount from these guys which flying spares never gave me 40% off the discs was pretty handy. It is looking more like a 6k Bentley now but should be pretty sorted with no big surprises for a new owner.

I did have a pair skimmed but it was 75 quid and this pair are a bit thin on one side so easier to get new.

yeah its on 3.6% co when the limit is 3.5 so shouldn't take much to get it down. The parts will arrive tomorrow so hopefully I can fit it in and have it done by Monday. I might have to register it so I can tax it and stick some miles on to see how it is. Then it can go for a bit of filling and painting on the arches, At least there are no rust advisories other than rusty springs which seems to be a bit of a fav with this tester.

Thats an idea I have a few freebie bottles of injector cleaner so worth a go. I put 40 quid in it yesterday and did about 15 miles. The fuel light is flickering again today. It must of been on fumes when I put the 40 quid in.

The pug 1.6 auto did 150 miles on thirty quid and I thought that was shit. It was flat out 95% though.
