I should start my own idiotic thread I guess. I was talking to my father today after he had been to my aunts funeral yesterday and thought he slogged for years in rolls at Crewe, has always had jags with crap in between and isn’t now likely to drive a product he had a hand in and thought I’d buy one and “loan” it to him as it’s his 70th birthday this year.

I could then use it when I return to the UK for the odd jaunt. He’ll use it for pleasure miles weekly.

You are right though there are no decent ones for sale at the moment. There is a LWB in Walsall but its last mot was over 10 years ago so probably best left alone.
