A year ago I was heading into Ruthin on the A494 belting along at about 85 in a 60 limit when I rounded a bend to see a NOrth Wales Scamera Van ahead of me. I slammed on which caused the take away curry I was keeping toasty warm on my heated passenger seat to go flying into the passenger footwell. I was totally convinced they'd caught me but fortunately, no nasty letter arrived in the post.

They caught me a good way back from where it was hidden; they must have new kit because I braked as soon as I saw it (and I wasn't distracted). I only needed to shift 8mph.
