30 years ago on a metro I had I tippexed the '1' for January into a '7' for July.
I got caught with the fucker. I never though about the colour change every six months ffs.

Remanded for crown court is more than just motoring offences.
The most a magistrate court can give you is 6 months. Ask me how I know.

A cheap colour printer/scanner and MS Paint could make excellent replica tax discs a 'friend of mine' discovered.

Brake fluid used to remove the biro from tax discs so you could put a new reg on them, so I was told.

The DVLA issued photocopy tax discs a few weeks before they were done away with, I had one and immediately screwed it up and threw it away. Then I saw how much the last discs were fetching on eBay so I ironed it. Then I threw it away again.
