Ex-prison van? I'm surprised that found its way into public hands, I would have thought they'd be carefully disposed of.

Many laffs at the 'Freeman on the Land' tweet. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall during that conversation. What a first-rate dolt.

Reminds me of when I had a XR4i & did exactly the same thing, the following chat with the copper was made more interesting as the had no tax, insurance or MOT at the time.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 12:50 pm POWERSLIDING ROUND ROUNDABOUT...IN FRONT OF THE BILL

Luckily I'd put it in the then gf's name so the other car cover on my insurance worked & I was taking it to a garage for the MOT.

They sell them off all the time. One of my pals has an armoured one converted to living van, another mate had a 7.5 ton ex prison van converted as well.fried onions wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 3:03 pm Ex-prison van? Haven't seen the chap with the armoured one for years but, I believe it's still parked on a different friends land, going green with mould.

Reminds me of Dave the Drifter who got nicked a few miles from there. He was doing circuits of the island at the top of the Bewdley bypass in an old shark nose BMW with a welded diff. The twat didn't check for rozzers sat back in the entrance off that very same island in the golf course entrance before he started to play. His best ever quote I can remember is "I'll show them how fucking stupid I am"Hooli wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 3:53 pmReminds me of when I had a XR4i & did exactly the same thing, the following chat with the copper was made more interesting as the had no tax, insurance or MOT at the time.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 12:50 pm POWERSLIDING ROUND ROUNDABOUT...IN FRONT OF THE BILL

I've got a vid somewhere on an old hard drive, filmed from the back seat of him doing a full circuit of the Mucklows hill Island (it's far from round) on a Sunday afternoon in broad daylight.
He got pulled another night when we were watching the street racing round Digbeth area after some rain allowing him to play in a Standard Sierra 1.8 with a spot welder rolling round in the boot IIRC. We went past the coppers totally broadside on the third exit as they were waiting to get onto the island. His first response to plod was "slippy in't it officer" A 5 minute chat in their car and was let off scot free.
