I didn't succeed in getting an old school one from the local motor factors, just a narrow-font one, but then it was for a trailer, I didn't have to show paperwork and it was only €10.

I don't think you're supposed to be able to get them in the old font - they are available from some online sellers though.

Not for £12 a pair like these, mind!

Being in Ireland and not having to give two shites about the UK register of number plate suppliers and all that tat, I can get them in whatever the shop had on their computer. I just need to find a way of adding in a font file to their software...

I'm thinking of doing the Serek font as paths for my vinyl cutter, my rear number plate is looking rather the worse for wear.

Finally managed to get a hold of the right parts to replace the custom wooden window regulator on the NSF - so it has 4 working windows and working door locks now! Revolutionary.
