You'll be fine, the engine will cool down as soon as it runs out of fuel.

The problem is it won't run out of petrol from here to Sweden.

I don't think so, which is annoying as I want to get there on the bike one day.

I have 4-5 days to get myself back to Sweden.
Wife said goodbyes and promised to pray for me if she finds faith. She's adamant that I won't get back in one piece or maybe she meant the car.

She's always right obviously so wish me luck.

Not much to report as I'm on a train to Birmingham to catch another to Manchester.
Boring as fuck this train business.

Will probably only start driving towards Harwich tomorrow morning.

Me and the Mrs went to Sweden on bikes from Northern Germany via Bornholm. It was 20 years ago so this may not apply now, but when we got there we thought we'd got the wrong country by mistake. Camp sites were very regimented and austere and though we were by no means fast riders were were cautioned to slow down. For the second time (first was after riding across Denmark) we felt relieved to be back in the Fatherland.
