What was your first crash in?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

More motorcycle antics
Actually I had an off-road experience the first week I had that moped, having managed to hit the dizzy height of an indicated 40mph on the dual carriageway the big roundabout in front where I had to turn right was clear, I kept the throttle pinned wide open and leaned over, sadly it wasn't enough and on exiting the roundabout I hit the (luckily) sloped curb like the wall of death resulting in me landing it on the grass still lent over missing a lamp post before going back onto the road.....

I was all too cocky riding 250 and 350 trials bikes since I was 12 had given me a false sense of security and a learned a lot about road riding on that moped in that first week or 2.

I had an apparently spectacular trip into the scenery coming back absolutely shattered from a days green laning on my DT125LC, I think I had a micro sleep or lost attention and woke just as the road turned sharp right with a reasonably steep slope dotted with sheep in front of me. I stood up on the pegs as I left the road between 2 wooden posts completing a jump that would have made the grade in the Great Escape, I landed nicely then hard on the brakes and spun the bike round to jump back into the road.
Thank the lord the days of everybody having a camera in the car were the distant future I only had the laughing of those behind to contend with....

On an RD125LC (after the DT was stolen) whilst out doing my training for my bike test I was distracted by the radio cracking frantically in my ear and I glanced over my shoulder to see what was wrong. The instructor was trying to tell me to slow down as there was a sharp right ahead, realising this a bit too late I took it wall of death style and stopped in the next safe place for a dressing down, instructor was more impressed I had kept it together than in giving me a bollocking as no previous pupil had done that....

1st crash ,a bit like mercrocker , I was 15 , boss told me to park the newly resprayed works van in the shed , somehow it didn't stop before i hit the end wall ..Boss was ok about it really "BLOODY BOYS !"
2nd crash 2 weeks after passing my test , going potty with a mate, in my sisters 12/50 Herald , I think now maybe it wasn't all my fault, tuck under and all that.. braked going into a bend ,rolled and rolled and rolled.....it all seemed very gentle ...I was expecting a few scrapes , and maybe my sister wouldn't know? , but it looked like Bubs van when we escaped !!We lived. Next vehicle around the corner , my boss, and went BALLISTIC at me..
3rd crash ,3 weeks later .
Boss buys a brand new Bedford CF 2.3 ( slant innit) ,to replace the one i fucked up, and I'm definitely not allowed to drive it ..it goes like greased lightning !!
"My " van wont go one morning so i have to use the new CF...it's only done 100 miles so far. Yep , gone around a bend in a country lane ,fucking big lorry coming the other way, so i think i'll stuff it in the hedge..only there's a telephone pole hidden in it ..that fucks the nearside , and the lorry fucks the other side... Ooops .
"GET IN THE OFFICE BOY !! "

I've not had many.

Lots of off-road biking tumbles, but the first on two wheels would be my Puch Maxi when I was 14. Collecting milk from the neighbouring farmer, i had a bag with a few pints of warm milk hanging from the handlebars. I caught the grassy centre of the farm track and ended up on my ribs. Still have the bike and it still has a broken head light casing.

A few years later I lowsided a mate's GSXR 400 at about 50mph when I hit some mud on the road on right-hander in the dark. Luckily there was no wall or fence as I ended up in bushes 20 yards from the road.

Four wheels would be the scrap yard 140J I put through the fence on a timed rally* stage me and pals were racing round.
Then there was the Volvo 480ES. I treated the wife to a tour of France for our honeymoon and pulled into oncoming traffic in Annecy, destroying the Volvo and the Renault the poor Froggies were driving. We're still married twenty years later.

My first car as a Metro, which I blew up in three months. I then put another engine in it & three months later managed to floor the throttle & brake at once due to the stupidly small offset pedals, being halfway around a right hander meant the car got excited & overtook itself on the outside. Followed by backwards into trees, killing it rather well.

Ignoring the fucking awful Volvo 340 I had next, blew up & killed I then got a 1977 1.3 GL Mk2 Escort... Yeah, I blew it up in three months, put a another engine in and three months after that spun it into a grass bank on black ice resulting in it a pirouette on the boot & landing on it's roof. It looked quite Bub'd afterwards.
